    This research work focuses on the study of the risks associated with the execution of works in confined spaces, which represents a problem for the company and even more so for the workers who perform them, because they materialize in the occurrence of accidents and occupational diseases which lead to serious consequences that can sometimes be fatal. The objective of the study is to be able to design a protection program for work in confined spaces, which provides the necessary guidelines to intervene the risks and minimize the accident rate in the performance of works in inspection of sewer chambers. This study is of vital importance for the company of the construction sector, since it is intended to strengthen the policies and processes that currently exist, thus achieving compliance with current legislation, in addition to documenting the obligations of employers, workers and all the entities that have any relation in the performance of works in confined spaces. It is intended to have a strong social impact, because the protection program for works in confined spaces will not only serve the construction company, but also any company that performs such inspection tasks.
