Diseño del sistema de gestión de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo en la microempresa Héctor Jaime Ospina S.A.S., Cali 2020

Abstract

El sistema de gestión de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo es indispensable para promover y proteger la salud de los trabajadores basado en la mejora continua, además constituye una herramienta estratégica de obligatorio cumplimiento orientada a mejorar las condiciones de trabajo, seguridad, bienestar y productividad, por lo cual se considera una responsabilidad empresarial encaminada a desarrollar un clima organizacional saludable. Esta investigación se realizó en torno a diseñar el Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo en la microempresa Héctor Jaime Ospina S.A.S., del municipio de Santiago de Cali. La metodología utilizada en la presente investigación, es de un estudio Descriptivo observacional de corte transversal, y los resultados de la investigación fueron, matriz de identificación de peligros, el análisis de los peligros y riesgos de la empresa objeto de estudio. El SG-SST contribuye a mejorar las condiciones de salud y medio ambiente de trabajo, a mejorar la calidad de vida de los trabajadores, y a incrementar los niveles de productividad, calidad y seguridad en las organizaciones. La gestión y el conocimiento sobre la seguridad y salud en el trabajo son deficientes; por lo cual es indispensable afianzar el enfoque proactivo siguiendo los estándares normativos.

The occupational health and safety management system is essential to promote and protect the health of workers based on continuous improvement; it is also a mandatory strategic tool aimed at improving working conditions, safety, well-being and productivity. Therefore, it is considered a corporate responsibility aimed at developing a healthy organizational climate. This research was carried out around the design of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the micro-company Héctor Jaime Ospina S.A.S., from the municipality of Santiago de Cali. The methodology used in the present investigation is from an observational descriptive cross-sectional study, and the results of the investigation were a hazard identification matrix, the analysis of the dangers and risks of the company under study. The SG-SST contributes to improving health conditions and the working environment, improving the quality of life of workers, and increasing the levels of productivity, quality and safety in organizations. Management and knowledge about safety and health at work are poor; therefore it is essential to strengthen the proactive approach following regulatory standards.
