Narrativas de vida del proceso de adaptación de tres migrantes de Honduras Cauca, al barrio Ciudad Córdoba en Cali, Valle

Abstract

Cuando una persona decide migrar hacia una nueva comunidad deben pasar por un proceso de adaptación y a su vez realizar un cambio en su cotidianidad, de acuerdo a esto en esta investigación se presenta dos relatos de vida donde se evidencia el proceso que han vivido tres migrantes de Honduras Cauca, para adaptarse a las costumbres sociales y culturales de Cali. La recopilación de esta información se logró mediante el empleo de una entrevista semi estructurada que permitió la realización de los relatos de vida, además de identificar los aspectos de mayor facilidad y dificultad que ha tenido que pasar los hondureños entrevistados para adaptarse a una ciudad como Santiago de Cali. La investigación tiene el objetivo de comprender el proceso de adaptación de tres migrantes de Honduras Cauca, que actualmente viven en el barrio Ciudad Córdoba en Cali, y para ello se apoya en una metodología descriptiva – cualitativa y el uso de herramientas didácticas como investigaciones previas del tema desarrollado en la investigación, además para la selección de los dos hondureños para el relato de vida se tuvieron en cuenta criterios de selección como, la diferencia de edad, diferencia de género y tiempo de adaptación. Es importante resaltar los tres migrantes provenientes de Honduras, han vivido cambios dentro del proceso de adaptación dentro del entorno urbano de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali y que en esas alteraciones son tipo personal , y social, ya que, han tenido que modificar su lenguaje y forma de comunicarse con los otros; esta acción es ejecutada para poder tener comunicación asertiva con las otras personas a raíz de que culturalmente no tienen rasgos similares y esto impide que usen palabras que el otro pueda entender.

When a person decides to migrate to a new community they first must go through a process of adaptation and make a change in their daily lives, according to this, this research we present three stories of life where it is evidence the process that two migrants of Honduras Cauca, try to adapt to the social and cultural customs of Cali. The collection of this information is achieved through an interview semi structured that allowed the realization of life stories, in addition to identifying the moments of ease and greater pain the Hondurans have had to live to adapt to a city such as Santiago de Cali. The research has the purpose of understanding the process of adaptation of two migrants from Honduras Cauca, currently living in the neighborhood ́Ciudad Cordoba ́ in Cali, and for this it is supported by a descriptive - qualitative methodology and the use of educational tools as previous investigations of the subject developed in research, in addition to the selection of the two Hondurans their life story took into account criteria of selection as, the age difference, gender difference and adaptation time. It is important to highlight that the two migrants from Honduras, have lived changes within the process of adaptation within the urban environment of the city of Santiago de Cali and that these alterations are personal, and social type, since, have had to modify their language and way to communicate with others; this action is executed in order to have assertive communication with the other people in the wake of that culturally do not have similar traits and this prevents them from using words that the other can understand.
