Evaluación de la implementación del sistema globalmente armonizado en un laboratorio clínico nivel IV, de la ciudad de Cali, en el año 2020

Abstract

El presente documento de grado tiene como objetivo principal evaluar la implementación y metodología del Sistema Globalmente Armonizado, de ahora en adelante SGA, en cuanto a la clasificación y etiquetado de productos químicos en un laboratorio clínico del CENTRO MÉDICO IMBANACO, Nivel IV, en la Ciudad de Cali, en el año 2020. Este trabajo se basa en los lineamientos de la guía de evaluación CISTEMA de la ARL Sura, la cual contiene información sobre las prácticas de gestión de las sustancias químicas, su comunicación y manipulación. Este tema genera un el interés de conocer la gestión de las sustancias químicas dentro de un laboratorio clínico, donde, gracias a los resultados de la investigación, se podrá obtener información sobre el conocimiento de la norma, el contexto en el que se encuentran los colaboradores, la capacidad de evaluar y analizar riesgos significativos y potenciales desde los diferentes puestos de trabajo, el tratamiento e intervención de los hallazgos, el monitoreo y control y, por último, la comunicación en la gestión del SGA desde su adquisición de sustancias químicas hasta su desecho como residuo peligroso o en algunos casos aprovechamiento de su ciclo de vida. Por lo anterior, el objetivo general es evaluar la implementación y metodología del SGA de clasificación y etiquetado de productos químicos en un laboratorio clínico en la Ciudad de Cali en el año 2020, para lograr el objetivo del proyecto, se ha planteado en primer lugar realizar un diagnóstico de la situación actual del laboratorio clínico según la clasificación y etiquetado de las sustancias químicas y el manejo y la divulgación de las hojas de seguridad, en segundo lugar evaluar el diseño de la implementación del Sistema Globalmente Armonizado para la identificación, clasificación y compatibilidad de la entrada de productos químico, y por último, proponer y recomendar mejoras que sean aplicadas a la implementación del Sistema Globalmente Armonizado para el proceso del laboratorio clínico.

The main objective of this degree document is to evaluate the implementation and methodology of the Globally Harmonized System, from now on SGA, regarding the classification and labeling of chemical products in a clinical laboratory of the IMBANACO MEDICAL CENTER, Level IV, in the City of Cali, in the year 2020. This work is based on the guidelines of the CISTEMA evaluation guide of the ARL Sura, which contains information on the management practices of chemical substances, their communication and handling. This topic generates an interest in knowing the management of chemical substances within a clinical laboratory, where, thanks to the results of the research, it will be possible to obtain information on the knowledge of the standard, the context in which the collaborators are found , the ability to evaluate and analyze significant and potential risks from the different jobs, the treatment and intervention of the findings, the monitoring and control and, finally, the communication in the management of the EMS from its acquisition of chemical substances to its waste as hazardous waste or in some cases use of its life cycle. Therefore, the general objective is to evaluate the implementation and methodology of the EMS for the classification and labeling of chemical products in a clinical laboratory in the City of Cali in 2020, to achieve the objective of the project, it has been proposed in the first place to carry out a diagnosis of the current situation of the clinical laboratory according to the classification and labeling of chemical substances and the handling and dissemination of safety data sheets, secondly evaluating the design of the implementation of the Globally Harmonized System for identification, classification and compatibility of the entry of chemical products, and finally, to propose and recommend improvements that are applied to the implementation of the Globally Harmonized System for the clinical laboratory process.
