El objetivo de esta investigación es el de identificar los principios del sistema de salud de Guatemala relacionales con el enfoque de desarrollo humano sustentable 2019, enfocando el análisis en los resultados obtenidos respecto al nivel de cumplimiento de los principios por parte de la normativa en salud guatemalteca. El método usado para este trabajo investigativo fue de carácter cualitativo, donde se realizó un análisis documental a más de cuarenta (40) artículos y documentos latinoamericanos en la búsqueda de argumentos para dar sustento a la monografía el análisis es de tipo teórico-descriptivo, donde se usaron determinados criterios de exclusión e inclusión para su desarrollo. La conclusión fundamental de esta investigación es que, no se cumple en lo fáctico, es decir, en lo real, los ideales y metas planteadas por el enfoque de desarrollo humano sustentable. Esto debido a causas de tipo estructural que afectan la forma en que los seres humanos del Estado de Guatemala desarrollan su existencia. Se puede inferir que el sistema de salud es precario.

The Objective: of this research is to identify the principles of the Guatemalan health system related to the 2019 sustainable human development approach, focusing the analysis on the results obtained regarding the level of compliance with the principles by Guatemalan health regulations. The method: used for this research work was qualitative, where a documentary analysis was carried out on more than forty (40) Latin American articles and documents in search of arguments to support the monograph. The analysis is of a theoreticaldescriptive type, where certain exclusion and inclusion criteria were used for its development. Conclusion: Fundamental to this research is that the ideals and goals set forth by the sustainable development approach are not fulfilled in fact, that is, in reality. This is due to structural causes that affect the way in which the human beings of the State of Guatemala develop their existence. It can be inferred that the Health system is Precarious.
